Meet Liz! Our field manager extraodinaire. You might have seen Liz in her few celebrity appearances in the store, but she is primarily focused on the production side of the farm via field work, greenhouse work, and harvesting.
Out of everything we grow, Liz has found the most joy with our Dill. Nothing beats the aromatics of this gorgeous herb! 🌱She does also want to mention her appreciation for snapdragons, which she has lovingly (and aptly) deemed “bumblebee sleeping bags.”
When she’s not on the farm, you can find Liz having a slow morning with her partner and son, cooking lots of nourishing food, and spending time in nature. We all enjoy hearing what Liz cooks up in her free time, because her passion for good food is tangible and contagious.
Liz stepped into the world of agriculture after being a volunteer for the NRCS, and once she started farming, she couldn’t shake it. She landed here at Stout Oak Farm because she felt that the farm aligns deeply with her beliefs about organic farming, community building, and healthy workplace culture. We are so grateful to have Liz here contributing to all of these ideals and more.
