Smiling farmers ready to help at the plant sale

We start strong, healthy plants ready to grow great food in your garden!

Our vegetable varieties have been carefully selected by the Stout Oak farmers for their excellent flavor, reliability, disease resistance, and ability to thrive in our New England climate.

We love to grow heirloom and open-pollinated varieties, so they make up the bulk of the list.

All of our plants are Certified Organic by MOFGA and Certified by the Real Organic Project. We also sell Organic seeds from High Mowing Organic Seeds and Hudson Valley Seed Co.

All plants are started from organic seed at Stout Oak Farm, and grown in an organic compost-based potting mix. Our goal is to help you get your garden off to a great start with strong, healthy plants!

2026 Plant Sale Guide

In this year’s Plant Sale Guide you’ll find descriptions of varieties, how much space each plant needs, and also which vegetables you can start from seed vs. planting transplants.

Use the Guide to map out your garden and start planning which plants and seeds you’ll get at the plant sale.

Come to the farm to shop for plants and seeds during our Plant Sale event! We are growing over 14,000 plants so there is a good chance we will have what you are looking for.
