CSA Quiz: Which type of member are you?

Are you a Weekly Vegetable Share person
or a Farm Store Credit person?

Which is a better match for you?

Answer these 5 simple questions and you’ll have your answer.

1. How spontaneous are you (with food) ?

A.  Variety is the spice of life. I like to try new things. I’m not afraid of a little bok choi.
B.  My meal plan is set for the week, and it’s going to be awesome. I just need this list of very specific ingredients to make it happen.

2.  What’s your schedule like?

A.  I have room on my calendar to add a weekly CSA pickup. Getting my weekly vegetables is a priority.
B.  I have no idea what I’ll be doing this afternoon, let alone the rest of this week. I’ll swing by the Farm Store the next time I’m driving by.

3. In the summer . . .

A.  My family looks forward to all the fresh summer vegetables. We eat at home most of the time.
B.  I like to get out of town as much as possible. I only cook occasionally, and only on the grill.

4. How many people are you feeding?

A.  There are 2 to 4 people in my house, and the majority eat vegetables.
B.  It’s just me — OR — I have a giant garden of my own — OR — I live with lots of people, but they are picky eaters.

5. When you come to the farm, you’d like to:

A. Chat with the farmers, open my CSA box, and pack up my vegetables to take home for the week.
B. Peruse the Farm Store on my own, and pick out just what I need. Maybe I’ll stop by again tomorrow.
