Cabbage Recipes
We’re more than a little obsessed with Cabbages, and grow several varieties including Savoy, Farao, Napa, and Tendersweet cabbage.
Slaws, stir-fries, sautés, steaming, roasting, grilling—cabbage does it all! Slice thick “steaks” or wedges, use the leaves as wraps or in salads, or swap it into any recipe that calls for Bok Choi or other greens.
Farao and Tendersweet are crispy green varieties with many uses. Savoy cabbages are most known for soups because of their texture, flavor, and structure. Napa Cabbage is an Asian variety, and is (another) one of our favorites!
In season: Summer — Fall
Keep it fresh: Store in the crisper drawer or the back of your fridge. If an outer leaf looks wilted, simply peel it off—the rest will stay crisp, juicy, and crunchy.
