Today’s hot weather got me thinking about summer foods I love – like cilantro, cucumbers, BLTs, panzanella, chard pie, pesto, and rhubarb spritzers. So I planted A LOT of cilantro today – and also dill, arugula, mustard greens, beets, and a few other things.
I think my cucumber plants doubled in size since this morning. Good thing some plants like the heat.
This past week was a busy one. I managed to get our seed potatoes planted – a process which required the use of the hiller/furrow attachment on the new tiller. It worked really well! I’m trying not to notice that my rows are a little crooked.
